Hats how to treat a lady

27 Oct, 2009 10:02 AM
LEADING fashions for a day at the races were shown at Friday's annual Hats 'n' Hooves lunch that kicked off the Spring Racing Carnival.

The Gunnamatta Room at Mornington racecourse was decorated in lime and chocolate colours to send the message that fresh colours with classic tones would be the style of the 2009 racing season.

More than 300 diners viewed the fashions and bid at an auction to raise money for this year's Hats 'n' Hooves' chosen charity, Peninsula Hospice.

The Myer fashions parade by Bayside shopping centre featured the work of Australian designers, including Nicola Finetti, Feathers and Review.

The themes of the parade were classic design with an emphasis on incorporating bright colours and embellishment.

For details about fashions on the catwalk visit Myer at Bayside shopping centre, Frankston, or call 97711700.
