They're hip, even early in the morning

13 Oct, 2009 04:00 AM
THE Hip Cat Circus revealed its appetite for showbiz and its gratitude for support when it put on an early morning show in Frankston.

The young cats were up early to perform for the crew from Programmed Maintenance Services, a street cleaning and maintenance contractor for Frankston Council.

The company has sponsored the Hip Cats for three years, allowing the group to continuing offering circus workshops for children aged eight to 21.

In addition to circus skills, participants learn team work and business management skills.

The Hip Cats meet every Tuesday evening at Cube 37 in Frankston Arts Centre, Daveys Street.
